The Tykes & Teens Festival of Trees & Lights has become the premier holiday kickoff event in Martin County, attracting more than 2,000 visitors last year. This year’s event will be bigger and brighter, with more trees, more lights, and several exciting new additions, including a free Family Day event and a silent auction that will run all week. The 10th Anniversary Festival of Trees & Lights will kick off on Sunday, November 26th and run through Saturday, December 2nd at Flagler Place, 201 SW Flagler Avenue in downtown Stuart. More than 75 decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces will be on display to inspire and delight visitors. The Festival is open to the public with no admission fee on Sunday, Nov. 26 from 12:30-5:00 p.m., Monday, Nov. 27-Friday, Dec, 1 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, December 2nd from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Raffle tickets will be available for a chance to win your favorite tree or wreath, with select trees, wreaths, centerpieces and other items being offered for silent auction.

Ticketed events include Joy to the Girls! Ladies Night on Monday, Nov. 27, a VIP Cocktail Party and Live Auction on Tuesday, Nov. 28, and an Afternoon Champagne Tea and Tiny Tot Fashion Show on Wednesday, Nov. 29. Free special events include Family Day featuring music and dance performances plus treats and hot cocoa on Sunday, Nov. 26th from 12:30-5:00 p.m. and Breakfast and Photos with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 2nd from 8:30-10:30 a.m. All proceeds from the Festival of Trees & Lights will benefit Tykes & Teens, an award winning Martin County based non-profit that provided 31,000 counseling sessions and more than $600,000 in free mental health services to Treasure Coast children and families last year.
