Happy 4th of July from Kitterman Woods!

Please remember fireworks are not permitted anywhere within our community.  If you are looking for a festive Independence Day event,    check out the following:

• the Civic Center will be having Freedom Fest from 2pm to 10pm on July 4, 2017. A family-friendly Fourth of July tradition in Port St. Lucie for many years, Freedom Fest is one of the city’s biggest annual social events.
• The Freedom Fest VIP Party: 7-9:30 p.m. July 4. Buffet in the Emerald Ballroom, access to our Plaza Boardwalk to enjoy music, cash bar, a kids corner and front row fireworks seating. Event is limited to 250 VIP guests. Port St. Lucie Civic Center, 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place. $30 adults; $10 kids ages 4-12; and free ages 3 and younger. 772-807-4488;
• Stars over St. Lucie: 6-9:30 p.m. July 4 at the Fort Pierce City Marina Square. There will be music by the 40-piece Air National Guard Band, a 40-piece military band, food, beer with the fireworks starting at 9 p.m.
• St. Lucie Mets game: The St. Lucie Mets take on the Charlotte Stone Crabs at 6:30 p.m. July 4 at First Data Field, 525 N.W. Peacock Blvd., Port St. Lucie. There will be fireworks after the game. Hey parents at Kitterman Woods! Pick up a Santa’s Calling form available Monday, November 7th and when completed, please return it to the Community Center by Friday, December 2. Forms will be available at the PSL Community Center, PSL Civic Center, Minsky Gym and City Hall. At the pre–arranged time, (6–8 p.m.) on Thursday, December 8 and Tuesday, December 13, with the help of his special operator, Santa will offer a special holiday greeting and ask questions specific to that child’s information gathered from the Santa’s Calling form. Only local calls can be accepted.
