Tomorrow is Take Your Dog to Work Day

Kitterman Woods LOVES dogs and, they say every dog has its day. Well, that day has arrived. If you are lucky, your dog gets to join you at work 06/23/17 for Take your dog to work day. Of course, this assumes that your (wonderful) boss will allow it.

Celebrated annually since 1999 on the first Friday after Father’s Day in the United States, the unofficial holiday was created by Pet Sitters International to encourage dog adoption and to celebrate the love and joy dogs bring to the lives of their pet parents.

For some dog owners, it is the one day of the year when they can bring their dog to work with them. For other lucky employees, every day is Take Your Dog to Work Day.

A recent survey from Wellness Natural Pet Food found that many employees would like their workplace to be more like Amazon’s.

Once he arrives at work, your dog can tag along, following you on all your work chores. He’ll be at your side all day long and, end the day happy, but dog-tired.

Even if you can’t take your fur baby to work do something special for them. Or if you don’t have a dog why not visit one of our local animal shelters and adopt a new family member.
